Raw Materials Pgs 180-206
This section really made me feel computer illiterate. I knew how to save images, but reading about how graphic and audio software can work is just amazing. It makes me wish that I had a lot more time to spend on doing things like that! I have a friend that has his own recording studio and the software that he has on his computer is amazing! he can record someone who sing terrible and work it out in his computer so it doenst sound near as bad, in fact, it could even be good!

That's funny about your friend manipulating soundtracks so that people don't sound as bad as they really are. I'm also amazed by what can be done... and somehow skeptical that it will work as easily as advertised. I have had more experiences with computers NOT working they way they were "supposed" to work than the other way around.
I would imagine that there is a lot of voice manipulation out there. Remember Millie Vinilli? I don't think I spelled that right, but you get the point. I have heard of other successful singers not being able to sing live because of voice manipulation.
